Kielo Continues Its Partnership with Joulupuu Association for the Eight Year in a Row

This Christmas, Kielo continues to support children’s and youth activities by donating to the Joulupuu collection. In addition, Joulupuu’s local collection points can be found in our serviced premises at Innova properties, Mattilanniemi, Ohjelmakaari, and Ylistönmäentie 26, enabling Christmas joy for children and young people under child protection and special support. In Lappeenranta, the Joulupuu collection point is located at the Skinnarila campus.

“It is wonderful that Kielo is once again an official partner of Joulupuu. It feels truly meaningful to be part of an initiative where children who might have limited opportunities to receive gifts at Christmas can get a present through the collection and experience the magic of Christmas,” says Anna Väisänen, Concept Manager at Kielo Jyväskylä.

Kielo has collaborated with Joulupuu Association for eight years. In addition to hosting local collection points in several Kielo properties, Kielo also provides practical support to Joulupuu Association for sorting Christmas gift packages.

“We assist Joulupuu by offering their volunteers an empty space in our Ylistönmäki property in Jyväskylä, where they can sort the presents received through the collection. We call the space ‘Santa’s Workshop,’” tells Väisänen.
